One of the things on my Bucket List is to see the Aurora in real life. In the meantime, I can see it in fake life (lol!) thanks to the awesome camera work of some fellow videophile (or “auroraphile”) up north.

Advertisers are always trying to sneak little things into our awareness, and the edges of our awareness, for their clients. Here’s a wonderful video that shows two advertisers who are susceptible to their own tricks! AND, it can give you an idea of how we are seeing advertisements without even knowing about it. Having the Recorder typing all the time can capture some pretty funny moments in a courtroom, like:

* Lawyer: “Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?”
* Witness: “No.”
* Lawyer: “Did you check for blood pressure?”
* Witness: “No.”
* Lawyer: “Did you check for breathing?”
* Witness: “No.”
* Lawyer: “So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?”
* Witness: “No.”
* Lawyer: “How can you be so sure, Doctor?”
* Witness: “Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.”
* Lawyer: “But could the patient have still been alive nevertheless?”
* Witness: “Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere.”

The holidays are officially over at my house, so I am back to traveling the information highway looking for neat articles and other sites and sounds for your enjoyment.

Are there any special areas of interest which you would like to explore? I am one of those that sets goals for myself every year and I have the usual diet one, but I am also intending to do stuff around the house. So I will probably be browsing a lot of sites on home improvement and self improvement.
