Sketch Fu! and Art.com

Monday, October 29th, 2007

sketch fu logo is a social networking site based around… doodling. Or real art in the case of some of these folks! But for me, it was just doodling. Here is the first thing I drew. Click the image and watch the drawing progress.

Art.com has a site where you can do the same thing without joining, but they don’t store your videos/images as long. You can still share, tho!

If you make a drawing on either of these sites, post a link in the comments so we can see!

1 Minute Horror Movies

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

Well, Halloween is almost here. The TV channels are really cranking out the horror flicks this week and AMC is no exception. Their MonsterFest lasts from now through Halloween and they are showing all the great horror movies of our youth… well, mine anyway.

If you don’t like sitting through a 90-minute gorefest, or just want a quick refresher on the movies they are showing, The Call of Cthulhu Gamer’s Club is hosting AMC’s MonsterFest as 1-Minute Horror Movies. All the movies of AMC’s MonsterFest are listed with 1 minute video summaries! Be sure to check them out and share them with your horror-movie-loving friends!

Video Friday

Friday, October 19th, 2007

Lower found this video and we all got a laugh out of it. Then we decided it was Zen waking up GB. Then Missykaye said no, no, no.. it was HER cat waking HER up. My Ginsu would probably do this, but my Foffer used to just stare at me until I woke up with his big green eyes looking right into mine… it’s a wonder I survived. I’m sure all cat owners (and friends of cat owners) will get a chuckle out of this video.
