What’s with the Ads?
Why are there suddenly Amazon.com ads in Densaville? Well Densaville.com now has an “Associate” account. That means if you make a purchase from Amazon using the links on our site, 4% will come back to us.
I have asked to be reimbursed in Amazon.com gift certificates. What I will do is use the gift certificate to purchase something from Amazon, which will be a prize for a community event of some sort.
We have PLENTY of time to get events planned, as they won’t send me anything until we have earned a minimum of $10.
I am trying to insert the code so that whenever you post an article (such as a book review), a link to the item will automatically appear in the text if you use the exact name of the product as it is shown on Amazon.com. Purchases made through those links will credit Densaville as well. (If I set it up right.)
Please post your comments and suggestions below.

So, if I go through this link part of the price will come back to Densaville? I buy quite a bit from Amazon and also have an Amazon credit card so for every XX dollars I spend I get a $25 certificate to use at Amazon. I funnel almost all my purchases thru my Amazon card now. I pay it off in full every month so its just free books with no extra charge for me. So, it sounds like I could also benefit Densaville by going through this link. Kewl!

That’s right. The link in the ads on this page has an associate ID attached to it. The equivalent of 4% of any purchase made from that link will be put in our associate account. When we have accumulated $10 or more in credits, they will send us a gift certificate.

That is so cool! I’ll have to remember that the next time I order from Amazon.

Me too. Now if I can just remember…
